POTENTIAL CUSTOMER DATA PROTECTION NOTICE
IFTC Uçuş Hizmetleri ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi is committed to protecting the privacy and security of individuals’ personal data. According to the General Data Protection Regulation EU 2016/679 (“GDPR”), IFTC Uçuş Hizmetleri ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi “Company” or “We” “IFTC” as data controller, is required to notify you of the information contained in this data protection notice. Company is committed to ensuring that the personal data of its potential customers is handled in accordance with the principles set out in GDPR.
This notice describes which personal data company collects from you as its potential customers, why company collects it, with whom company shares it, how and on what legal basis company collects it, how long company usually keeps your personal data during and after your relationship with company. This data protection notice also makes you aware of your rights under the GDPR.

1. PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU
Your personal data below are processed;
- Your Credentials: Name, surname, birthday, license information,
- Your Contact Information: E-mail address, phone number,
- Information Relating to Your Profession: training information for the profession,
- Other Information: license type, license number, the country the license was issued, validity period of the license.
2. PURPOSE OF PROCESSING PERSONAL AND THE DATA LAWFUL BASIS FOR PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Your personal data will be processed for the following purposes in accordance with the GDPR;

3. PERSONAL DATA SHARING
In order to comply with law, such as a court order, Company will be legally obliged to share your personal data with different government agencies and institutes. Company will share your personal data with data processor who processed your personal data on behalf of the it. Company will also share your personal data with third parties, such as authority to perform contractual obligations. In such cases, Company will limit personal data shared to absolute minimum required.
4. TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA OUTSIDE THE EU
As an international establishment, if necessary, the Company will transfer your personal data which is collected from you to connected entities in Turkey. IFTC secures that appropriate safeguards are in place which provide adequate levels of protection of your personal data as required by applicable data protection laws. All transfers outside the EU not made to countries which are considered to provide an adequate level of protection of personal data are safeguarded with agreement based on Standard Contractual Clauses based approved by European Commission or such other mechanisms as have been recognised or approved by the relevant authorities from time to time. 5. HOW DOES COMPANY COLLECTS YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Company processes your personal data directly from you, third parties and legal authorities during your relationship with our company, via the internet, telephone, e-mail and physical, written, verbal and electronic media for the purposes specified above by automatic and non-automatic means.
6. PERSONAL DATA RETENTION
Company only retains your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes that collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Once the purposes terminate, Company will retain and securely destroy your personal data in accordance with company’s data retention policy and applicable laws and regulations.
7. YOUR RIGHTS IN RELATION TO YOUR PERSONAL DATA
You have the following rights in relation to your personal data in accordance with the provisions of section 3 of GDPR;
- Right to be informed: organisations must tell individuals what data of theirs is being collected, how it’s being used, how long it will be kept and whether it will be shared with any third parties.
- Right of access: individuals have the right to request a copy of the information that an organisation holds on them.
- Right of rectification: individuals have the right to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Right to erasure and right to be forgotten: in certain circumstances, individuals can ask organisations to erase any personal data that’s stored on them, including the Internet.
- Right of portability: individuals can request that organisation transfer any data that it holds on them to another Company.
- Right to restrict processing: individuals can request that an organisation limits the way it uses personal data.
- Right to object: individuals have the right to challenge certain types of processing, such as direct marketing.
- Rights related to automated decision-making including profiling: individuals can ask organisations to provide a copy of its automated processing activities if they believe the data is being processed unlawfully. You should also remind individuals that they are free to exercise their rights and explain how they can do this.
8. YOUR DUTY TO INFORM COMPANY ABOUT CHANGES TO YOUR PERSONAL DATA
It is important that the personal data company holds about you is accurate and current. Please keep us informed if your personal data changes during your relationship with us.
9. CHANGES TO THIS DATA PROTECTION NOTICE
We reserve the right to update this data protection notice at any time. If the COMPANY does update the data protection notice, it will inform you and provide an updated copy of this notice by dpo@iftc.aero
