A team of workers and engineers worked on IFTC Antalya’s solar system installation last week. 100 square meters of solar panels have been mounted on the second modular building’s roof, and another 200 square meters of solar panels have been mounted on the frames of the car park. The car park’s solar panels are also mounted at the same angle as the buildings’ panels, optimizing efficiency and simultaneously functioning as a roof to protect cars from sun and rain. Less visible, but equally important, is the installation of additional inverters to supply power from the solar panels.
This week, the engineers will begin wiring the panels to connect them to the inverters. Once this is complete, the system will be capable delivering electricity back into the power grid.
